ProStor Systems Appoints Buzz Walker Vice President of Product Management
Industry veteran to direct market strategy for removable disk storage leader
BOULDER, Colo., March 19, 2008 – ProStor Systems, a leading developer of
removable disk storage solutions for data protection and archive applications, today
announced it has named Buzz Walker to the newly-created position of vice president of
product management. Walker has more than 25 years of experience in storage systems,
software and technology ventures.
Walker will assume responsibility for product management and market strategy for the
company's RDX® removable disk technology and InfiniVault™, the world's first
removable disk archive solution. This includes go-to-market strategies, market analysis,
market segmentation, product positioning, messaging, target markets, pricing and the
company's product roadmap.
Walker joins ProStor from Arkivio, Inc., a leader in delivering Information Lifecycle
Management (ILM) software solutions for enterprise file system management, where he
was vice president of marketing and business development. At Arkivio, Walker led all
marketing, product management, branding, strategy and alliance activities.
"Buzz adds broad experience in storage systems, and has an excellent track record in
creating mid-tier and enterprise market opportunities," said ProStor Systems CEO and
President Steve Georgis. "As vice president of product management, Buzz will help us
capitalize on the many opportunities we are seeing for both our InfiniVault systems and

Walker has also held leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard, where he primarily focused
on sales, marketing, and strategy for storage, OpenView software and office automation
products including responsibility for HP's mergers, acquisitions, investments and
technology alliances within the storage sector. Walker also managed HP's business unit
for branded automated data protection solutions, where he was responsible for the
industry-leading unit market share of DLT-based tape libraries. Prior to joining HP,
Walker was an R&D manager for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He received his BS degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, and his MBA
from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
